It can be written as blocks of order 4. We know that magic sum of a magic square of order n having 1 to n<sup>2<\/sup> number of entries is given by<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">S<sub>nxn<\/sub>:= n*(1+n<sup>2<\/sup>)\/2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In this case we have <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">S<sub>16&#215;16<\/sub>:= 16*(1+16<sup>2<\/sup>)\/2 = 2056<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">All the work is for the sequential entries from 1 to 256 resulting in magic sum of 2056.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blush-light-purple-gradient-background has-background\">Whole work can be downloaded at the following link:<br><br><strong>Inder J.
